Seal #2: A liquid material used to improve the corrosion abrasion and heat resistance of inorganic coatings such as chromates, oxides and phosphates. It gives an excellent protective coating that is uniform and clear in color. Also, this product does not bind or build up on threads or recesses.
Seal #3: This process is designed to give greater corrosion protection than Seal #2. It has a protective outlook on both white rust and red rust. Plus, it also does not bind or build up on threads and recesses.
Seal #4: A water base chemical coating, which is used for exceptional corrosion-resistant coating on plated parts. This process greatly enhances the salt spray protection for white corrosion salts. Plus, it also does not bind or build up on threads and recesses.
Seal #5:
A unique, non-toxic, stabilized sealer that is not viscous and will not
discolor the base plating. This seal provides good protection on parts
that are exposed to high temperatures and will result in a coefficient
of friction of 0.14 to 0.16. Seal #5 can provide 1,000 hours or more of
salt spray protection, depending on the plating thickness. Plus, it also
does not bind or build up on threads or recesses.
Seal #5 Plus:
A specifically engineered coating that is non-toxic and extends the
shelf life of electroplated material. Seal #5 Plus is a superior coating
with salt spray expectations of 2300 white rust and 4800 hours red rust
pending the base plating. Seal #5 Plus is the best sealer in the
industry.

Facility Features
Sophisticated and Flexible Production Lines
The modern processes and equipment at Three J's Industries are designed for the following reasons:
To consistently achieve the requirements of demanding specifications.
To provide flexibility in the production schedule in order to meet delivery commitments.
To maintain a clean operation necessary to minimize wastes and emissions.
Any size job from the smallest fastener to the largest stamping can be accommodated. The company has backup items on all equipment to ensure no downtime. A complete machine shop is located on site where equipment can be precisely fabricated and maintained for production.
Modern and Comprehensive Laboratory
With the instrumentation in its modern laboratory, Three J’s Industries has the capability of testing:
The plating thickness of parts by using a magna gauge, eddy current or x-ray machine.
Both plating baths for its proper chemical make-up by doing titrations daily.
The quality of its water with an atomic absorption spectroscopy machine.
In-house salt spray testing is available to ASTM B117
In addition to this laboratory equipment, Three J’s Industries has a Rockwell Hardness Tester and Comparator on site as reference tools for our customers.
Chemical Safety and Environmental Compliance
The processes and equipment at Three J’s Industries, Inc. are designed to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and permits. Our facility’s waste treatment was designed with piping overhead, rather than underground, so there is no danger of soil and groundwater contamination. Clean process operation minimizes wastes and emissions that could otherwise contaminate the environment.
